Yeah, I know it's not even Halloween yet, but people are thinking about Christmas. I know they are! Do you know how I know? I have 30 family photo shoots in the next 29 days that prove that Christmas is on their minds. They want these pictures done so that they can order and send out their Christmas cards. Am I right or am I right?
And oh how I LOVE Christmas cards. I love sending them, but I love receiving them even more! I pretty much skip to the mailbox every day of December because I'm so excited to see what's inside. I love seeing the cards people carefully chose and seeing how much their families have grown from the previous year. And as a photographer, last year added a whole new realm of Christmas awesomeness because my work was on most of my friends and family's cards! Last year I received so many different cards and the ones that were my favorite just happened to be from Tiny Prints. They have so many different options for styles and budgets and I knew that I wanted to use them this year and I'm hoping that you will check them out and use them too! Check out their Christmas Cards
selection for 2012 as well as other SPECIAL OFFERS they have on their website right now.

Our favorite Christmas tradition is to take the craziest photos and put them on our Christmas card. An example is the one year we were "Speed Racer" and I was racing down the yard on my 2 year old neighbor's tricycle. One year my husband and I took photos of us at the "North Pole Prom". Yes, I had a 2 foot tall pink wig, and our clothes were from Good Will.
ReplyDeleteYeppers, we have fun taking our Christmas card photos.

We've done it since I was a toddler, although now that we live in different states it is more of a challenge. She still always saves at least 1 or 2 batches to make when I get home for the holidays, and it's one of my favorite Christmas memories through the years. My email is skpurnell@gmail.com

ReplyDeleteI am most looking forward to Paul being off on Christmas Eve and Christmas this year. It is definitely a treat! The past 2 years he has left during church on Christmas Eve to head to his shift! We always bring treats to law enforcement and firefighters who are working on Thanksgiving, but this year we are adding some Christmas Eve and Christmas Day deliveries to all those who have to leave their families to help keep everyone else safe.
My favorite tradition is a new one!Since my family is growing and has a new generation going on we have new traditions! It is one that my sister made for her new generation! It is Pajamas on Christmas Eve! It was fun last year because while me and the youngest sister were getting ready for bed we had a special delivery! A delivery of Christmas Pajamas! I will now spend Christmas eve at my sisters because she makes it as magical as I remember it when I was growing up!
